What is Yin Yoga
"Yin Yoga is a slower, more meditative practice to compliment yang styles of yoga. A floor based practice where we hold postures for several minutes to release tension from target areas within the body. Aiding in restoring the health of our bodies tissue and maintaining the natural mobility of our joints. Energetically (and my favourite part of the practice), it helps to open up the meridian system. Opening up the flow of energy and supporting our mental health. Each posture is a chance to have a mini meditation and explore stillness."
